Who is Jimmy G?
In the world, there be a few people who do not love football. The game is as popular as it should be in all corner of the world. Hence, the football players have worldwide recognition and fan following. Jimmy G is also one of those footballers who have earned fame at a very young age. He was born on 2 November 1991 in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Early life
Jimmy G who born and raised in Arlington Heights, Illinois is the third of four sons of his parents. His father Tony Garoppolo is a retired electrician. His brothers are also well-settled as one of them is architect and other is a teacher. Jimmy got his early education from Rolling Meadows High School in Rolling Meadows. In school, he also demonstrated his skills. However, he got major breakthrough at the college level.
Professional career of Jimmy
During his college, Jimmy played for Eastern Illinois Panthers from 2010 to 2013. However, his 3rd year was the most successful. In 2013, he broke the record of Tony Romo for career passing touchdowns, career passing yards and passing touchdown in a season. In the same year, he also won Walter Payton Award of an offensive player.
Hence, his brilliant performances earned him the attention of football giants. In 2014, New England Patriots drafted him in the second round of NFL Draft. However, he was the backup of star footballer Tom Brandy in two Super Bowls and he got little to demonstrate himself. Hence Patriot traded him to 49ers in 2017. It became the turning point of his career. He started his show here with a 7-0 record as a quarterback. Later he signed a $137.5 million deal with 49ers the then-highest deal in the NFL history.
