Early life and career
Cole who born in Paddington, London grew up in Somers Town. Moreover, he was not with his parents and at the age of six moved to Somers Town. George and Susan Cole adopted him there and raised him. Cole was a hot prospect in English Football. He came in light through the youth system of West Ham United. His abilities forced Manchester United to offer a £10 million for his services as a 16 years old boy.
Cole made his senior debut for West Ham in 1999 and became the member of FA Youth Cup-winning squad. However, in 2003, he left the West Ham United when the club was relegated. However, Cole won the Hammer of the year award in 2003. In August 2003, he signed with Chelsea for a fee of £6.6 million. He played 250 games for Chelsea across seven seasons and scored 40 goals.
