Location & Way to Kaghan Valley
Kaghan valley is in Mansehra District of province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This valley is also near the Naran Valley. Moreover, it is an alpine valley and stretches across 155 kilometres. It has variable heights with minimum 2134 feet and maximum 13690 feet. The borders of the valley also touches Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir.
However, the valley is at a distance of 38 kilometres from Mansehra. You can access the valley via Balakot, Abbottabad and Mansehra. From Balakot, Public transport is also available for Kaghan. Moreover, visitors can also book taxis from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. From Islamabad, the valley is at a distance of 209 kilometres. It will take approx 3 hours to reach the valley.

Season to Visit Kaghan Valley
The season to visit Kaghan valley is the Summer season. From May to September, the valley remains open for the tourists. However, in the Winter, it remains closed due to glaciers and landslide. The glaciers block the roads in winter and travelling becomes impossible.
