The historic temple is in Cape Kanyakumari Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the temple is on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. The temple in the south region of India far from the Capital Dehli. The distance between Delhi and Kanyakumari Temple is 2838 Kilometres.
However, the nearest airport to Kanyakumari Mandir is Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. But it is also 101 kilometres away from the temple. From the airport, you can reach there in approx two hours by taxi. While from Mumbai the temple is 1658 kilometres.
Festivals of Kanyakumari Devi Temple
Religious festivals are also held there and then worshipper across India come to participate. On full moon day, there is the Chitra Pournima Festival in May. In late September and early October, there is a 9 days Navarathri festival. In this festival musical artists come and show their skills while performing in front of Devi. Other main festivals are Vaisakha festival, 10 days in May-June and Kalabham festival in July-August.
Timing to worship in the temple
The timing to worship in the temple is from 6:00 am to 11:00 am in the morning while in the evening it is from 04:00 pm to 08:00 pm.
